It is with great conviction that the Foundation supports the Apprentis chercheurs mentorship program, innovative and unique in its format, which allows young candidates to experience a first immersion in a research center and to take heed of the different possibilities for careers in science.

In this program, a high school student is paired with a graduate student researcher who acts as an accessible and experimented resource person. It is in this privileged setting that occurs this teaching by the youth, for the youth.

Since 2002, more than 700 high school students have had the opportunity to take part in an internship at the Armand-Frappier Santé Biotechnologie Research Centre and the majority of our past interns have since pursued their studies in the fields of sciences and health.
